I don't want to just copy/paste or reword what Sheeno Mirin wrote in the comments, but I would really recommend anyone who feels disillusioned by the surplus of "mesmerizer-copy MikuTeto slop"(<- I don't believe this. Typing those words hurts) in the Vocaloid space to check out this song and his comment. As a song it's also just so good, Sheeno Mirin never misses. The instrumental feels so intense. I absolutely love how Teto sounds here, I've never heard her soundlike this.

I would like to thank this song personally for getting me through those last few months of my horrible desk job.

I just love this one. I did not know Natsume Itsuki and honestly thought this was a human singer at first (happens often when I don't know a SynthV voicebank, they can be scarily real-sounding..)

One of the most embarassing things is that it's been years of me making Vocaloid pages, and I still can't really properly describe music and instruments. There is something about this song that is just so captivating. Every instrument in vsynth music is some sort of "Synth" to me, so I'm sorry if I ever get it wrong, but I swear there's synths in this song that are really good. I love the instruments here. It's so unique. The MV is weird and surreal and kind of creepy and I love the stories HarumakiGohan tells through their mvs. I'm glad Nurse Robot_TypeT is getting songs.

This song has gotten huge fame, outside of Vocaloid spaces even. It's well-deserved, Flavor Foley keeps getting better with every song. The songs reach is kind of terrifying, though- It is very strange to have people in your life who have never cared about Vocaloid suddenly talking about this awesome Miku song they found through like, Roblox or something. The chorus of this song might be one of my favourites I heard this year.

I always think that this one is way better known than it actually is, for some reason?? It just feels very trendy, and the general "webcore"(??) theming of it all makes me think it should be bigger than it is. I thought people loved that stuff!! I do! It's fun and cute and kind of nostalgic feeling. Some of the sounds in the beat remind me of Mario 64.

I love when producers sing alongside vocaloids. It's very cute to me. It's a super uncommon combination of voicebanks in this song, too! I feel like I rarely see ciflower.

This is my deep cut favourite from the year. It's simple and calm and cute, but a bit sad. I also don't know if I had ever seen an original with these two used together, despite them both being 2008 utaus (I am quite fond of the 2008 utaus.). The pixel illustrations are so nice as well.

I feel like this was the craziest year for English Vocaloid since like, 2015, but maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention these past few years?? I feel like it really broke into a more mainstream audience this year, at least. This song feels like it was made for fame, and it deserves it. Incredibly catchy and well produced. Where are the animation memes to it? I'm waiting.

Faraway Spring is one of my favourite songs off Do Vocaloids Dream of Doomsday Bird(but every song off that album is my favourite...). A remake with clearer sounding instruments, it's just absolutely beautiful. Even if I'm not the biggest on Miku NT, the softer/more nasally tone of this vb really makes the song feel gentle. Sasakure.UK could do nothing but remake every song from this album and I wouldn't complain.

Bibi's tuning is always crazy impressive but my god they are making Len sing the fuck out of this song. I also love Rins quieter tuning, sounds almost playful. Cute.
